  • Title: The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
  • Author: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
  • Published: 1892

  • Genre: Dectective fiction
  • My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*My opinions are my own.

Containing many humorous elements, The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle initially deals with the abandonment of a goose and hat, but evolves into a more noteworthy case.

This story starts with Sherlock looking to return a goose and hat that were lost by their owner, but turns into a more serious case when a jewel is found.

I have always been a fan of Sherlock Homes. This story did not let me down. This story has more humor than you would normally find in a Conan Doyle plot but he uses it wonderfully.

I was so happy I read this story today because it took place during Christmas and it helped me get in the mood for the holidays.

Whether you are a Sherlock Homes fan or just looking for a fun holiday read you should pick this up today.

I was a bibliophile before I learned the alphabet. From an early age I have used books to relieve the pressures of reality. I was I teenager before I appreciated the learning power of books. Now, as an adult, I read books for both learning and relaxation.
