Book Apocalypse

Earth’s apocalypse is a common topic. Everyone has different thoughts about it and is in a different level of preparedness for it. In most regards I am not ready for an apocalypse, books are the one area I am ready.

I have bookshelves full of books. Truthfully, I have so many books I have some in draws because that’s the only place I can fit them. At any given time about a third of my books are on my TBR list. I have a quark about needing to have choices about which book to read next. Because of this I will have a choice as to which book(s) I can take with me. But I have to be honest, I know which book I am taking with me. It has been sitting on the shelf for years specifically because I think it would be my perfect post apocalyptic book. I would take Irish Born. This book contains all three of the Irish born trilogy books by Nora Roberts, with a combined page total of 772. The individual books are Born in Fire, Born in Ice, and Born in Shame.

I love Nora Roberts and have read tons of her books,  I am reading her book Year One right now, I will post a review when I finish.  But whenever I pick this book up I always put it back down saying I should save it for when I “need” it.  Sure some might say this is a cop out but when you have as many unread books as I do, you need ways to narrow your choices down.

Who else has their post apocalyptic book picked out? I would love to hear some suggestions so post your answer in the comment section.
