Follow Beth and Alex MacGregor, their family and friends as they join the continuing rebellion and their fight for revenge and survival in The Jacobite Chronicles.

When I started Pursuit of Princes I was under the impression that it was the last book in The Jacobite Chronicles.  Having this mentally I had high expectations for how it was going to end.

As a whole I enjoyed this book, but when compared to the previous four books it was my least favorite of the series.  The previous books in the series focused on Beth and Alex’s relationship while  the coming of the rebellion was a subplot, and this books plot focused on the rebellion and Beth and Alex’s relationship was a subplot.

I was upset with the end of the book until I found out that there was going to be a sixth book released in early 2018 (not sure of exact date).  Throughout this series Mrs. Brannan has done a wonderful job of ending each book where there is a natural gap in the plot line.

I was late in finding out about this series, so book six is the first one I have had to wait for and I am having some serious book withdrawals.  I would definitely encourage readers to check this series out.  The first four book in the series are  Mask of DuplicityThe Mask RevealedThe Gathering Storm, and The Storm Breaks.  Book six is going to be called Tides of Fortune but I don’t know when it is going to be released.  If you have read this series or have information about book six please contact me or leave it in the comment section.

Happy reading!!!
